Sedation in dentistry has been around for decades. Only recently has it been a more common practice. Mainly two forms of sedation can be prescribed at our office. Oral sedation, and Nitrous Oxide “laughing gas”. The purpose of sedation is to 1) Decrease anxiety coming to the dentist 2) relaxation.
